Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Yerp, after what feels like ages of having to keep my big mouth shut, I can finally talk about my next project!  It was announced last weekend at WonderCon that Dark Horse would be continuing the newly acquired "Angel" comics as "Angel & Faith" with the wonderful Christos Gage writing and me drawing.  This interview with Chris and the video of the WonderCon panel is a good starting place for information on the series.

I am so, so excited to be working on this series.  Even though I watched and loved Firefly and Dollhouse from their beginnings, I only started watching Buffy about a year ago at the insistent prodding of Jon, who is about as big a Whedonite as they come.  But I was still pretty familiar with the characters and the storylines when I got the job.  My love for the Buffverse has only gotten stronger since then so it really feels like I'm getting paid to draw official fanart sometimes, which is just mind-blowing-ly AWESOME.  Take that, middle school art teacher!

Right now all I can show is my variant cover for #2, which is the first image in my gallery to the left.  Hopefully I'll be able to post more soon.  But the first issue comes out in August, so we wanna keep some surprises up our sleeves!
